1pm - 'Economic news' courtesy reminder time Traders!

'Market Focus' in the US this evening

"No bond or foreign exchange trading nearly insures a very quiet session for the stock market." [Source: nasdaq.com., Mark Pender]

'Market Reflections' from the last trading session (10.11.2010)

"Credit tightening in China and building debt trouble for Ireland offset strong U.S. data to make for little change in the Dow which ended at 11,355. Jobless claims are showing solid improvement, offering an early indication of strength for November payrolls. Continued strength in exports once again helped to narrow the trade gap.

The dollar got a slight lift on the latest trouble out of Europe, this time a spike in borrowing rates for Ireland. U.S. rates were slightly lower, reversing only a small fraction of yesterday's jump. A sweep of inventory draws in weekly petroleum data gave a boost to oil which ended just under $88. Gold held steady at $1,403." [Source: nasdaq.com., Mark Pender]
