'Market Reflections' from the last trading session (18.11.2010)
"Quick movement toward an Irish bailout, including funding from the UK, eased the risk of default and sent international markets sharply higher. The Dow rose 1.6 percent to 11,181 while the dollar index fell 0.6 percent to 78.64. U.S. economic news was very positive headed by another set of easing trends for jobless claims and including a back-to-back jump for the index of leading economic indicators and a surprising surge in Mid-Atlantic manufacturing activity. Oil jumped two percent to nearly $83 while gold held steady at $1,354." [Source: nasdaq.com., Mark Pender]
