Good afternoon all,

This thread shall finish at 1pm as I now 'fling' the reins back to Highlandlad for the 'Afternoon thread' to start.

In closing, my 'Pic of the Day' today is a little glimpse at the "Horse" (& Jockey in training) that I'll be backing in tomorrow's 'Melbourne Cup' ... his name is "Jimmy the Gymnast" & he's No. 25 in the field. The rider is 'Arvarnta Trainalot' who is from Austin in the US.

Judging by the looks of things atm it just goes to show that true winners can be bred through sheer persistence, lots of hard work & real dedication (lol) - I mean, absolutely anything's possible if you were to back this one tomorrow ... right??? .

Anyways, that's my red hot tip for 'The Cup' tomorrow ... consider it straight from the horse's mouth, lol!
