Hi guys. Wat an epic. I had to pull out all the stops. I was getting a massive run around from bigpond for last two weeks. Nothing would get them to register my new modem with their network. Then today I gave it my best shot. I hung on the phone for hours and finally talked to the senior technician and he said he would check it out and call me back in half hour. As usual, no call back. Failure. :<

So, having a bit of medical history with heart trouble, I called the complaints line again and told them that all the problems they were giving me were starting to affect my heart. Wow, that was the right thing to say. The guy tells me to wait and comes back in ten minutes and says the techs have fixed my problem. I check it out and it is all working. Success! :>

So now I have my superfast internet. Hate to think how much this has cost me.

Moving forward. Time to catch up and make up the losses.
