seems the market is caught in the middle of no mans land at the moment, having trouble breaking to the upside after a fantastic run recently, but also any dip is being bought.

good to see the US markets overnight bounce well of the lows.

in terms of stocks/sectors to watch today:

Rare Earths - looks like the best days are now behind the sector its had an amazing run, will be staying away from the smaller players now just too much risk, more money flowing into base metal plays now. One exception is if the near term producers overshoot to the downside that might provide trading opportunities look at the likes of LYC,ALK,ARU on any significant weakness.

BML - hopefully it will come out of its trading halt pending copper exploration results, with the XRF Nitron analysis indicating copper at 63.3% these results could be spectacular.

SYS - are there enough traders still interested to drive it higher.

SMD - good buy depth stacking up again this morning after yesterday's announcement of copper samples of up to 23.5%, chart suggests more left in the move and with a resource upgrade and further exploration results might be wise to stick a few in the bottom drawer. Very positive presentation out this morning highlighting the current inground value of their reserves and the near term production options.

UXA - last night announced China West Holdings became a substantial holder, not sure if it will drive the stock but will keep an eye on it.

Artemis Trio - this is a trade that will play out later in November but keep MEO,MOG,CUE on your watchlists and watch for volume spikes because they will run in the lead up to the spud of their Artemis well Offshore WA, with a target of 12 trillion cubic feet of gas, it is one of the largest targets ever drilled in Australian exploration history, will be money to be made in the lead up to the well just have to be patient for the right entry.
