yeah, things can get tricky all right.

I try to get into a mindset where I am happy with less.

Also will start to spend time during the trading day tweaking/improving my system.

Keeps my mind busy and more importantly keeps me behind the monitors.

If I take a day off, which I tend to do when the tide is out- especially Friday's - I will do it properly, shut down and walk away - not half arsed like back in the day.

Though sometimes I only decide to walk away 30mins or so after open, you can usually feel when it is going to be a suck out day pretty quickly.

They are only my strategies mind you, sure many here who have done time have their own.
