    Exciting times for NUH.

How are Nuheara IQbuds different to Apple's AirPods? Wireless earbuds that don't do anything else are just wireless earbuds. They aren't 'smart'.

Nuheara have a team of leading experts and researchers from Curtin Uni who understand signal processing and have a lifetime of experience making products for the human ear (www.nuheara.com/meet-the-team/). They have crowdfunded over $1 million AUD from 82 countries around the world. That's a global opportunity right there.

They won the Most Disruptive Technology award for Western Australia, then went on to win a place in the National iAwards just recently. They are now representing Australia at the Asia Pacific innovation awards in December in Chinese Taipei.

IQbuds aren't just wireless - they provide noise cancellation, augmented hearing and assisted listening all in one.

A research report by Nick Hunn suggested Nuheara could become an acquisition target for their unique application of technology to the ear. Apple are known for snapping up niche tech firms and boutique companies and adding to their portfolio. Siri came into existence from a Stanford University project after all.

"Companies have a long learning curve to understanding the ear and audio processing requirements. As a result, some of the early disrupters may well end up as acquisition targets." - Nick Hunn, WiFore Consulting (report included in the Nuheara prospectus - worth reading)
