Rox Resources Limited (ASX: RXL) (“Rox” or “the Company”) is pleased to report the first assay results from diamond drilling at the Musket prospect, part of the Fisher East nickel sulphide project 500km north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
Rox Managing Director, Mr Ian Mulholland commented, “This first result, our highest grade yet, of 19.5% Ni for the massive sulphide zone in hole MFED042, confirms the high tenor of the nickel sulphide mineralisation at Musket."
MUSKET RETURNS HIGHEST NICKEL GRADE YET: 0.9m @ 19.5% Ni
• High grade massive nickel sulphide mineralisation confirmed by diamond drilling at Musket, 35m and 80m down dip from previous RC drilling
• 0.9m @ 19.5% Ni, within 15.0m @ 2.7% Ni from 264.7m in MFED042
• Second diamond hole, 50m down dip from MFED042 intersected similar mineralisation with assays pending
• Drilling continuing to define the extent of this high grade mineralisation
