    Thanks for the replies, but I don't think they are correct. Why is the market depth Seller side the same in CMC and Etrade while the buyer side is different? Why would the total trades figure be different? Neither the Chi-X or market maker theory fit. Also, I don't think CMC is acting as market maker for stocks. I'm sure you get real stocks.
