    Just on HC -

Back in the mid-90's when Ron Gully first started HotCopper out of his house in Geelong it used to be a bit of a wild west of Ramping - no ASIC looking etc.... Ramping was much worse then now... Well maybe:)

Think HC changed to a new platform in 1999 for the ASX float or when Bourse Data took it over straight after the float - everyone had to re-register again....

On the other good sites were Investorweb - had a group of us were more pro traders - was a good site.... Also liked The Chimes site, who's owner (Stephen Matthews) was chased by ASIC and went to jail relating to his postings etc....

Fav. ramp stock was Formulab (FNC) which was owned Anthony Richter....
Richter Paradigm he called it and was a "thinking computer" & it functioned like the human brain, only like 100's of times faster.... Was basically a Pentium with a few metal pieces added...lol... Was listed on the Nasdaq too and had a MC like $1/2 billion at it's peak until people worked out that it was just a fancy PC....
