Orca Energy Limited (Orca or the Company) is pleased to advise that it has made a significant oil discovery in the southern Cooper Basin permit PEL 115 with the Burruna-2 oil exploration well. Wireline logs have confirmed a net pay interval in the mid Namur Formation of 5.3 metres and a subsequent drill stem test has resulted in oil free-flowing to surface at a rate of over 750 barrels per day with no associated water. Burruna-2 will be cased and suspended as a future oil producer.
