daytrading august 9 morning

Morning all. Thanks HLL and all contributors. Welcome to all the fresh meat . . . er new posters I mean. :>

Market looks like it will pop on open. Seems to have been a definite change in sentiment. Can be a dangerous time for traders with overconfidence mixing with gap up opens and chasing shiny profits. Stick to the rules folks.

Gold doing it's thing and getting back over $1300. Same applies to gold stocks. They will run today but no safer than yesterday really. Gold still needs to go straight past $1350 and over $1400 to even be on the way to recovery.

Rules for today.

Don't chase gap up opens.

Take windfall profits.

Mr Market will whack you when you least expect it.

Check open orders.
