Tissue Therapies (ASX: TIS) has been placed into an ASX trading halt while it prepares a proposed capital raising.

The halt will last until the earlier of an announcement being made available to the market, or the opening of trade on Friday 22 February.

Range Resources (ASX: RRS) has caught investors eyes sending the company’s shares up 24.6% yesterday to $0.076.

Volumes were also high with 5.9 million shares trading hands.

Range has been enjoying numerous successes recently with the discovery of a new oil reservoir and the addition of a new oil producing well at its Trinidad operations starting the ball rolling.

A-Cap Resources (ASX: ACB) has defined a JORC resource of 335 million tonnes of coal in multiple seams for its Mea project in Northern Botswana.

The coal ranges from high quality domestic thermal coal, export quality coal to possibly material suitable for low ash Pulverised Coal Injection.

Bounty Oil and Gas (ASX: BUY) expects to tomorrow(today) spud the Utopia-12 well that will further its oil development program at the Utopia oil field in Queensland.

The well will be drilled by the Ensign Rig 948 that was released from Utopia-14 but was delayed from moving due to rain and local flood events.

Hot Chili (ASX: HCH) has exercised its purchase option over a major component of the recently expanded resource at the company’s Productora copper project in Chile.

Earlier in the month Hot Chili delivered a resource upgrade at Productora which came close to doubling the resources at the project to 165.2 million tonnes at 0.6% copper, 0.1g/t gold and 132g/t molybdenum from surface.

By exercising the option, Hot Chili now holds a 100% interest in the Central Lease (Productora 1/16), which contains over half of the projects established resources, and is positioned within the company’s planned central pit development.
