    Kookeboy. If you are a stay and hold investor type then OK
    If you want to trade (even weekly) then I think the amount you invested is p0ossibly to little as say 5 % gives say $150 but you have too much % in brokerage. Just my opinion. My preference is 5 to 10 k amounts to make it worthwhile.

    Then there is confidence and experience. Some may put $100 000 eg FMG recently

    Then there is volumes traded ie u dont wnat to buy $30 000 on illiquid stock as u may never get out again ie your stop loss will never get filled

    Some use risk % - Robbb posted somethign on thsi once but can be found elsewhere, which is related to how much u are prepared to lose, TA potential downside vs upside. So real hard to answer.
