Sydney - Tuesday - January 10: (RWE Aust Business News) - Carbon Conscious (CCF) expects net profit to rise 309 per cent to $3.5 million for FY12.
This is based on forecast sales revenue of $16m, up 129pc, and EBITDA of $4.6m, up 285pc.
Carbon Conscious expects to complete its 2012 planting of 10,000 hectares to sequester carbon and claim carbon credits.
It is targeting 20,000 hectares in 2013 and 30,000 hectares in 2014.
On achieving this it should deliver net profit of $14m and $23m respectively.
Carbon Conscious has a contract pipeline of $1.5 billion in term sheets under consideration by clients.
It has executed major carbon sequestration contracts with Origin (ORG) and BP and planted 8m mallee eucalypt trees to date across less productive parts of the wheat belt in Western Australia.
