I wasn't trying to say sony is a good example of a company hehe They bumbled in Tv's as well.. it cost them a fair bit of marketshare in the LCD and now LED space. They gained a bit back with smart TV's though.
Very hit and miss.. but with so much diversified products, you'd expect that.
