I remember Kevi running around at the bottom of the GFC starting threads like Kevi-goes-long-FMG or something like that, in some ways that was the seed for the day trading thread which formed months later.

There was also a thread on another forum called Follow My Trade in 2003/2004'ish - started by Marty38

The fast hand threads typically have a higher turn over thread than your more investor type poster, no surprises here.

Lot of recent users have turned to other social media outlets for their 'fix', though I imagine they will be back here or some other virtual bazaar down the road, perhaps when the heat goes out of the penny arcade a little.

The vast amounts of cash sloshing around the specs has proven to be a fertile breeding ground for the spruikers...
