Hi Kincella,

Am planning to prune a velvet leaf small tree this mornng and then strike some cuttings from the prunings. Butterflies love it so I have used it extensively over quite a few situations and soil types. It's very hardy and has berries that look like a mulberry. The fruit is edible but I give it a miss.

This afternoon I will keep on doing some spot weeding from areas that have got a bit out of control while I was away.

I will, of course, be accompanied by the cats and my trusty, if occasionally muddy, radio tuned into the ABC. Shall be a fountain of knowledge by days end.
