Poly - maybe what this country needs is for the pitchforks to come out and for people to start actively complaining and demanding changes take place.
They could start with passing a law that would force the banks to hand over the interest rate cuts to their customers. If such a thing is possible? I think it's absolutely disgusting that hardly any of the previous rate cut was passed on, and wonder how much - if any - of this one today will be.
Totally agree with you about the media coverage. You can always count on them to "maximise the doom and gloom factor". Much like the banks - perhaps the media also need to have some controls placed on them.
