    Morning traders. I'm down with the lurgi, so please forgive the truncated market wrap this morning:


    Australian outlook: very bright after a boom night in Europe and the US. March SPI futures up 43 points or 1%.

    Dow up 218 points or 1.68%.
    S&P 500 up 1.81%.
    Nasdaq up 1.88% and above 3,000 for the first time in 12 years.
    Europe at an eight-month high.

    MarketWatch oil.

    Reuters base metals.

    MarketWatch gold.
