Quick catch up. Saw a post asking about Rodriguez concert. It was brilliant. He is is good form even though, as he said, he was a "solid seventy". Voice still had it and he definitely gave the impression that he's one of the coolest dudes on the planet.
Sang Sugarman, I Wonder etc and all the hits. Plus great covers of Blue Suede Shoes and Like a Rollin Stone. The band made of Oils drummer Rob Hirst and guitarist Bones McCoochie and bass from Violent Femmes and other guitar from Hunter n Collectors was really good too.
