I doubt it's a virus. It's most likely an Iress issue. Don't open any of the announcements through Iress. As HLL said, use the ASX website for announcements.
Most likely an incompatibility issue with Iress and Java 7. There were some bugs since the upgrade and they've probably created this one trying to fix them.
