On Easter Day in the afternoon and into the evening I was at drinks at the home farm of some artisan beekeepers friends. I shall send this prayer on to them.
As the prayer rightly says, the candles used in church are indeed all made of beeswax and it was ever thus even in prior ages when many domestic and other candles used were made of animal fat and so on.
