MIXED LEADS: A busy night produced a heap of conflicting leads for our market. Positives: a nice buy-the-dip recovery in the US, rises in copper and gold, gains for the big miners. Negatives: nasty losses in Europe, six-week low in oil, tepid US and European economic data. Normally I'd expect our market to fall when served that menu on the last trading day of the week, but events this week have shown anything is possible. Especially as it's the last day of the quarter. The big money may take profits or it could drive the index to fresh 2012 heights. Keep an open mind and follow the money!
