The text that you want to be bold, in italics and or colour, is the text between the right pointing arrow, and the left pointing arrow.
Where it says (words), replace that with your text.

If you want to do bold and colour for example, do it as in the instructions below.,
left arrow,font color="red"right arrow, left arrow, b, right arrow, your text, then the remaining steps, to the right of your text as in the instructions.
font color/bold or italics/your text/bold or italics/font
If you wanted everything to the end of your post to be, again for example, blue, italics, you only need to preceed your text with the font color script and the italics script, just as I have done here.
