Good morning traders.

The word Ukraine looks like being in the headlines for a while.

With the Ukraine government coffers apparently depleted, you would have to wonder what they can do to stop the Russians. No doubt they won’t want to give in too easy. The power game continues.

What ever way it plays out gold and oil could move quickly northward if things escalate but could retrace quite smartly if a diplomatic solution arises.

The VIX Volatility index was up though still aways off its most recent high.
