Some very good stuff posted in the last hour of the morning thread while I had my head stuck in the afternoon wrap. Fully concur about the potential advantages of prop shops/Giz's house. I've been doing this for nearly a decade and feel I've hardly scratched the surface.
As an analogy, I'd been mountain biking for a few years with a big polar bear of a mate, generally noodling around, not pushing too hard and having loads of fun. Then I went out last week with another pair of bikers and discovered I've been living in the slow lane. It was like a different sport. In other words, I didn't know how little I knew until I spent time with others doing the same thing in a different way. I suspect trading is the same for many independent, make-it-up-as-we-go-along, self-trained traders.
