    i think they are all different

    essentially the firm provide the office space and computers IT etc and they receive the brokerage in return

    in the us loads of day trading firms modeal highly frequent trading for a few cents works out cost effective for a firm plus some have an education component or a webinar component e.g. 300 shares for 10c but the brokerage is 2 c a pop etc

    that model wouldnt work here too many darn rules not enough cheap brokers etc

    would have to be a bunch of mates sharing office space or rent a hot desk to work
