Gotta say, some of those who have taken a big hit and are in the depths of despair now have a good chance of having a better quality of life coming to them in the near future.

From my experience with much worse things than losing money (I wont go into it now), once you have accepted the fact and moved on, a much greater appreciation of just about everything awaiits.
