IT doesn't matter what a stocks worth is, only what its perceived worth is based on previous action, charts and trader psychology.
If someone starts ordering big volume into a volatile stock, people think exactly what you are: "there must be a reason".. and thus becomes the reason. Self fulfilled and very profitable to one group while a great way to gamble for the general public.
