daytrading oct 2 morning

Gold followed the script and dropped $40 last night. But Mr Market gave the finger to US politicians and sailed on regardless.

It does amaze this old lag to see this happen. Back in the 80s and 90s any untoward event in the real world would send markets reeling. These days the markets see themselves as the 'real world' and the rest of us just a nuisance.

I guess we can look forward to an exuberant bounce first up, which is where I'd be taking profits (but I'm not holding anything :>)

I must admit I feel like I'm in unknown territory atm. I usually have an idea of where things are going but there are so many factors at work right now market could go anywhere? I do find it all very interesting tho. Never a dull moment.

I'll just follow the volume and momentum and not hang around in one spot too long.

But not a time to go overboard. imo

GOLD. Holding above $1280 support atm. I'm outa goldies for time being.
