DJ MARKET TALK: Mkt Awaits Joint European Statement To Trade EUR

2329 GMT [Dow Jones] Players who trade the EUR are awaiting a joint statement from European leaders to see how big EFSF leveraging will be, says Atsushi Hirano, a senior dealer at RBS in Tokyo; "we will be disappointed if it is less than EUR1 trillion and the euro will likely fall. But if it is more than EUR1.5 trillion, that will be a positive surprise and I don't rule out the euro rising above $1.41." On talks between banks and European leaders, he says "we have already priced in that the two parties reaching an agreement is a difficult task, so I don't expect any downside risks in the euro from this."
