It is difficult to place a value on the nickel resources at Isabel and San Jorge as the current resource has not been defined to modern JORC standards. Assuming that the historic grade of the resource is reasonably accurate then each tonne of resource contains 22.99 pounds of nickel, and 1.54 pounds of cobalt that has a total current value of US$206.91 of refined nickel (at $9.00 per pound) and US$20.41 of refined cobalt (at US$13.25 per pound) for a total of US$227.32 per tonne of ore.

Expressed in equivalent gold grade terms this equates to 5.42 g/t gold at US$1,300 per ounce, and converting the entire historic resource of 159 million tonnes at 5.42 g/t produces a conceptual total of 27.8 million ounces.
