Oh yeh, I know that A$ PoG is higher and that helps a lot of course. But lower $A still flows thru to what you can buy for your buck. It can create a paradox where in property market for example, cheaper A$ can make property here more expensive cos of o'seas buyers. And all the big mining equipment comes from o'seas as well, for one thing. Just makes it harder and falling gold price throws a bit of a pall over the whole market. You only have to look at how SPs of Aust gold stocks are going to see they are not fully responding to that currency advantage.
