The final determinant was when I found out CW was a believer. He had earned my respect through his subscription newsletter/website. To get on HC and find the level of mining knowledge from posters was a lifesaver because it has helped me to understand the business as best I can.

Good to hear you actually know people who had such a positive outcome.
Sort of like knowing someoe who has won Lotto - it makes it real - the difference here is that we get to choose to be winners....or, at least the odds are stacked in our favour... to date.
