My last one on shorts.
Take company X for example (could be SIR or similar). Once the SP exceeds the maximum ever price, fueled by constant good news, panic can set in and these shorters bail out where they can and the SP simply rockets. These guys lose out big time. However, others jump in at the high SP hoping for a dip. I think this type of behaviour is what heppened to LYC initially: i.e. ~20 cents to 2.60 rapidly then almost back to square one again.
