Hi Ganderson, agree the majority of your points, good summation IMO.

One exception "(don't mistake this statement with Lynas's lack of communication / PR with Malaysian locals - I agree re the position there)", a little research would show they are now, and have been for sometime, fully engaged in factory visits, education sessions - people to people engagement rather than flashy PR pieces.

They've acknowledged their earlier shortcomings, lulled into a false sense of security prior Fukushima, but fear of the unknown is hard to combat. With an operating LAMP and actual materials at hand (literally) the task is so much easier. Troll a few Malaysian blogs and you'll find numerous first hand reports of schools, community groups etc re their LAMP tour.
