To takeover results in the delisting of that Company, in this instance if they only have between 60 and 89.999% the company will continue to trade. Portman mining was a good example of this when taken over by Cliffs, Cliffs was unable to reach the required 90% of acceptances to delist Portman, Portman continued to trade and for those shareholders that stayed in their the rewards were enormous, I cant recall the exact prices between the original bid by Cliffs for Portman where Cliffs received less than the 90% required, but I do know that a year or so later when Cliffs decided to take out the minority sharehollders the price offered was 5 to 8 times of that of the original offer.Maybe the same could happen here??
