big article in melbourne age thursday 11.12.08 states that the new RBA rules for direct charging commencing 3.3.09 suits independant atm owners much better than the major banks.
it goes on to say that some major banks may want to get out of atm`s as the new rules encourage banks to get out of the atm chain. apparently banks consider atm`s a nuisance, a pain to keep the maintaining them and putting the cash in, and regard atm`s as a pain in the neck.
but cus are well equipped and organised, and have the best atm machines in the world. banks get their profit out of over the counter transactions, online banking and big loans.
this may give wildash the opportunity to get hold of additional machines in good locations, that the banks want to get out of.
i notice he has been buying more shares, ann out yesterday.
thats a great sign, him buying more.
The article goes on to say that the RBA has not set a fee limit , so in some places, late nite clubs etc, where it is difficult to get money elsewhere, cus and cashcard can put their fees up higher.
