Hi Nielsey, I have some general investment advice for you which I hope will be received well. I'm genuinely concerned for you based on what you've said. I take no enjoyment from someone who is hurting from their investments. If you must buy speculative investments, I suggest you limit them to no more than 5% of your total portfolio. I have no opinion on DCC as a company whatsoever. I've made (and lost) money from speccies and it gives me a thrill, but at no point would I rely on speculation to pay my bills and save for retirement. If you have over committed on DCC, I suggest you have a serious look at what you're prepared to lose and then adjust (sell some stock) accordingly. If i may use a golfing analogy, you've hit the ball into the bush. Take your medicine and chip it onto the fairway. Don't go for broke and aim for the green. Enjoy your investments, but get your thrills from somewhere other than the stock market. Just my 2 cents.
