It's a tricky thing to understand. I first bought a parcel of LNG in the 24c when no one really cared about the company. There was little movement, and ASX investors didn't seem to either know or care about LNG. That is until the US institutions took an interest, and LNG set off on it's 9 month rise to $4.50.

It was the US that made LNG what it is today, otherwise a lot of Australian investors would still be snubbing it until it was making any money.

I know a very rich man, who through a mutual friend was told of the success I was having in LNG. I mean rich, like is one of three owners in a company with 1000 employees. My friend told me that he wasn't interested because there just wasn't enough stock and because it was speculative.

That was at 70c. Could you imagine if he had taken a nice position early on? Well he didn't. I did see him the other day and he told me he invested at $2.10 and got back out at $2.60.

My point is most people are only comfortable with an investment if everyone else is. Australian investors specifically don't appear to be willing to invest in "high risk" sectors at the moment, nor do they appear to be willing to pay for companies that could one day be huge. They are happy to wait it out and take the small wins when they know it's going well.

Thankfully, the recent announcement about Coinbases exchange, more importantly the successful funding that was put forward, shows that there is potential for DCC to one day catch the eye of US investors and help propel it towards it's fair value and beyond.

Sheep mentality is essentially what I'm saying. Just needs the right herders to start buying and the sheep will follow.
