But there are plenty of other cryptos. I don't know why people think Bitcoin is a lone in it's little world. There are plenty of other ways to transfer money. In fact you can transfer money using almost any other coin for fractions of a sent. Many times cheaper than bitcoin.
Bitcoin may have a small supply but the crypto world in large doesn't. And given it's so easy to transfer between cryptos, you shouldn't be thinking about bitcoin as something separate and special.
