since the selldown begun, the sell side actually grew, but mostly in orders 20% above current SP, so for example, last week the sell side had around 3.5m shares for sale, 4m volume would go through and there would still be 3.5m available on sell side. today is the first day where buying has reduced amount of shares available on sell side. there was a crap tonne of offscreen buyers and sellers, making it harder to ascertain what was happening.
