Some interesting broker data has arisen from the last week that contrasts the weeks earlier, which contrasts the weeks earlier again:

Ill illustrate from this chart below, seperated into 3 different boxed areas corresponding with 3 different sets of broker data over the corresponding time periods.

Firstly, Green: (30th of Jan to 13th of Feb)

The initial selling was retail dominated, Commonwealth and Wealthhub Sec (Nabtrade) sold the first large red sell lines as seen on the 6th of Feb.

Note, that large Wealthhub Sec (NabTrade) sell order, turns into a buy order a week later for the exact same $$$ amount, and aligns with the retail sized short position. Aka, someone formed a short position, sold their entire stack ($149k), then rebought lower (as seen in the next data area in the yellow box), while putting spoof trades up higher on the sell side to encourage more selling. Data is data.

Long story short, this was a retail dominated move in an amatuerish dump by someone who had a short position, and wanted to buy in lower.

Secondly, yellow: (14th of Feb to 27th of Feb)

This includes the 800k share block sale between instos, as seen to be coming from FinEx.

This included many more on market sells by this seller to the tune of 1.36M shares over a 2 week period. You will see in the next blue boxed area, that seller hasnt sold for a week now, after selling every day for a month.

(Note the Wealthhub sec (nabtrade) order for $100k flat here, pairing with the ~$50k buy in the green box above = a $150k dump to take us from 65c to 50c, a short position to benefit from the downward move, before a buy at a lower price, before the fake sell side orders disappeared above.)

Thirdly, blue: (28th Feb to 8th of March:
Here is the last week of data, note that Finex hasnt sold at all for the last week, and they were the primary sellers for the last month selling 1.5M.

All done? If so, they were likely Sunset Management or Bannaby Super, as per linked below with similar levels of shareholdings in the T20.

An update on this post:

Still no selling from FinEx since the 28th of February (where they sold 1.6M shares the month before) which is good to see - may have exhausted this supply.

What we are seeing now is CMC (retail mum and dads) selling to Commonwealth (other retail mum and dads), with institutional buyers netting out on smaller orders.

Will routinely update this with further news as the weeks/months go by.
