Monthly reporting is what companies should do, totally doable with the information systems available today. The execs know what happens on a week to week basis if not day to day, no reason not to report monthly.
Unfortunately it will take time for shareholders (of all companies) to have that expectation in sufficient numbers for it to become standard practice.
As for DCN, if they don't put out an ann revising quarter targets down, then things should be going ok is my take.
