you will get the right but not the obligation to purchase 1 share for each option they give you at the exercise price of $0.25. it's a reward for being an early investor. if the price of the shares on market go above $0.25 anytime between now and the expiry date (2024 I think?) then you can make instant profit so long as you can come up with the cash to exercise the options. if the price stays below $0.25 for the next 3 years then you'll let them expire as they'll be worthless. view them as a bonus. make your decision on whether you want to buy the shares at all.
