I did like Vlad's last line. He certainly seemed to imply that. There has been a lot of consolidation over the last couple of years. And several disties are building out their UC credentials (which DDR is already strong in). Bluechip bought out Mia Comms recently, and Leader just announced the acquisition of Alloy Computer Products in the last 48 hours.
Hills was going downhill for many years, so it will take a while to turn DAS into a money-making machine. But I think it was a strategic purchase. I am liking DDR's strong push into Security and think that will be paying dividends (literally) for many years to come.
