Yesterday I placed a buy order at $13.54 for 700 shares. It took 37 trades to to fill it - numerous trades for 1 to 10 shares!!! No trade larger than 120 shares.
Would be interested on views on this type of price manipulation - selling single/low numbers of shares. Automated Bot activity? Must be expensive in terms of brokers fees? What would be the purpose behind this type of suspect activity?
