I am following the money and have just bought in @ 38c - De Fazio Hlgs have just announced 5% shareholding. To refresh memories here is a snip from SMH Feb 14:
"The Melbourne chemical and pigment maker Acquos has so far refused to say whether it wants to buy Wattyl. Its owners, the De Fazio family, bought an 0.47 per cent stake in Wattyl last year.

The company's director, Frank De Fazio, advised Allco Equity Partners on its failed $275 million, $3.25-a-share bid for Wattyl in 2005, which was later trumped by Barloworld, of South Africa"
