Voltaire - I think the copper chart is very exciting - include the link below for anyone that isn't familiar with recent action - scroll down to the weekly chart. My only concern is that the whole metals complex is very overbought but there is no way I am prepared to stand in front of it. If I was just starting out as a chartist and hadn't been waylaid by all sorts of ideas, I would say it is a huge upslanting triangle formed over the past two years and is about to go up to at least 500 a pound. Hard to see it in the current environment but I think we will have to let the market have the last say. But if it does break topside it is probably suggesting that either the worst is already over in the US or else China is enough to offset everything. We live in interesting times ......
